Brass and Copper Parts FAQ

C36000 or C11000 for my part?

C36000 when machinability and threads lead (connectors, valves); C11000 when thermal or electrical conductivity leads (heat sinks, bus bars). Tell us the function and the quote names the alloy.

Do brass parts ship without plating?

Yes, bare brass is conductive and often used as-machined on RF parts; plating is only added where the drawing calls it.
