Common Questions

Why minimum clearance on the teeth?

Too much clearance lets the chain slap and hunt; the drawing profile keeps engagement snug for positioning duty. The form tool carries the profile so every tooth is the same tooth.

Why no heat treatment?

The drive loads and the tooth material at this size do not need it, and skipping treatment keeps the geometry exactly as inspected. If wear duty increases, nitriding is the upgrade path.
