About This Part
The robot wrist shell is a key structural component between the end effector and the forearm of the industrial robot. It wraps and protects the complex transmission mechanism, motor, sensor and cable inside the robot wrist. KGL Machining Robot Double Arm Wrist Shell Product Introduction This KGL Machining Robot Wrist Shell is made of aviation-grade aluminum alloy CNC precision processing, which is easy to install and maintain. It has an IP67 waterproof rating and 2000Hz vibration resistance. It can still operate stably even in harsh environments such as mining and welding, and mounts directly onto industrial robot arms. The double arm wrist shell is the core carrier of the flexibility and functionality of the robot arm. Through structural protection, lightweight design and sensor integration, it supports the efficient and accurate execution of humanoid robots in industrial, service and other scenarios. The double-arm wrist shell can assist the elbow to achieve flexible rotation and precise positioning. At the same time, by optimizing the structural design, it can reduce movement resistance and improve the smoothness and operating efficiency of the robot arm.
High-quality Materials
The double-arm wrist shell is made of aluminum alloy, which has good rigidity and thermal conductivity, is easy to CNC process, and can obtain a variety of colors and wear-resistant surfaces after anodizing. Magnesium alloy can also be selected, which has high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, good biocompatibility and good appearance texture. High-strength engineering plastics can also be used because of their light weight, excellent chemical corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, and can withstand high temperatures, and complex shapes can be formed by injection molding.
Precision Manufacturing
KGL machining achieves flatness and ultra-high precision through five-axis high-speed thin-wall milling, ensuring that the double-arm wrist shell mounts directly onto the industrial robot arm. Combined with five-axis linkage rough machining, precision five-axis finishing, drilling and tapping, deburring and other processing processes, complex structure manufacturing with high difficulty and precision is achieved, laying a solid foundation for the high performance and reliability of the robot. The product is manufactured through CNC milling, CNC finishing and finishing of side holes and screw holes, and then dimensional inspection, appearance inspection and deburring are carried out. Finally, the surface is sprayed with oil according to customer requirements.
Advantages of Robot Double-arm Wrist Shell
The robot double-arm wrist shell uses high-strength and lightweight materials such as titanium alloy, magnesium alloy or carbon fiber, which greatly reduces the wrist and overall weight, and improves the movement speed and high-speed movement accuracy. The optimized structural design and joint components are coordinated to enhance the load capacity of the double arms; the shell, as the main load-bearing part, has high rigidity and strength to ensure the stability of the joints and reliable movement during high loads and complex operations. The shell integrates high-precision torque sensors to sense external forces in real time, respond quickly when collisions occur, and improve the safety of human-machine collaboration; the solid shell isolates the internal moving parts, and the metal material or special design shields electromagnetic interference to protect the internal precision electronic devices. This design makes the double arm suitable for a variety of scenarios such as precision assembly, electronic manufacturing, and heavy-load handling. Combined with advanced force control and bionic drive, it can perform tasks that require high flexibility and dexterity such as medical rehabilitation.
