About This Part

KGL machining uses aluminum alloy, which is light and corrosion-resistant. High-strength steel has high rigidity and is suitable for heavy loads or high impact environments. Carbon fiber composite materials are both lightweight and high-strength. Titanium alloy is used in special environments, is resistant to high temperatures and has excellent strength, and supports customization in special industries. We can choose materials for customized processing according to your needs. Our KGL technical processing personnel first perform rough processing with a milling machine or lathe to remove excess material, perform preliminary shaping, and reserve a finishing allowance. Then perform finishing processing with a multi-axis CNC machine to complete high-precision cutting to ensure the dimensional tolerance of key parts such as joint mounting holes and transmission slots. Drilling and tapping, processing bolt holes, pin holes and other connecting structures to ensure assembly accuracy. Finally, the Robotic Arms and Small Arms is deburred and inspected, and the size is verified. To improve durability, corrosion resistance and aesthetics, the robot's large and small arms need to be surface treated. Anodizing forms a dense oxide film, which enhances hardness and wear resistance. Electroplating such as nickel plating and chrome plating improves rust resistance and reduces friction coeffic

Common Questions

Which materials can this part be machined from?

Common options include 6061/7075 aluminum, stainless steel, 45 steel and engineering plastics. Send your drawing and we confirm material availability and stock within 24 hours.

What tolerances can you hold?

Standard tolerance is ±0.005 mm on metals, engineering plastics, and carbon fiber composite. Every dimension is verified against the 3D model on Hexagon or Zeiss CMMs.

How fast can I get first samples?

You receive engineering feedback with the quotation, within 24 hours of sending a drawing. Prototype parts are typically machined in 15 to 25 days depending on geometry and finishing.

What quality documentation comes with the parts?

Each shipment can include a first-article inspection report, dimensional CMM report, and material certificates. KGL is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and AS9100D.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. KGL supports 1-piece prototypes through volume production on 100+ CNC machines, so you can start small and scale the same process.
