CNC Machining for Communications Equipment
RF housings, cavity filter components, heatsinks and connector hardware machined in aluminum and copper, with the conductive finish discipline RF hardware needs.
What We Build for Communications Teams
- RF cavity housings and filter bodies in 6061 with alodine finish
- Base station and amplifier heatsinks in 6061 and C11000
- Connector backshells and ground blocks in C36000
- Machined cold plates for power amplifiers
RF Hardware Quality Points
| Feature | We hold |
|---|---|
| Cavity dimensions | +/-0.02 mm, individually documented |
| Conductive faces | Alodine, masked from anodize |
| Cover flatness | 0.02 mm for gasket sealing |
| Threaded ports | SMA/NPT threads gauge checked 100 percent |
Typical parts: communications typical parts. Thermal material data: brass and copper.
Communications Machining FAQ
Can you machine RF housings with conductive finish control?
Yes: alodine (chem film) on mating and grounding faces keeps conductivity, with anodize or paint only where the drawing allows. Masking maps are agreed before production.
What tolerances do cavity filter parts need?
Cavity dimensions drive frequency response, so we hold cavity features to +/-0.02 mm and document them individually on the CMM report.
Do you support repeat batches for base station hardware?
Yes, programs and fixtures are filed per part number; quarterly repeat batches are the normal pattern in this industry.
