Frequently Asked Questions
What tolerance can you hold on plastic parts?
On stable geometries we hold +/-0.005 mm on polymer parts, matching our metal capability; minus-material behavior like moisture uptake is planned into the process. Standard tolerance is +/-0.05 mm unless the drawing calls tighter.
Do plastic parts need annealing?
Stress relief (hot oil or air annealing) is planned per material and geometry; PTFE nearly always gets an anneal before finish passes, and PC benefits on stress-sensitive features.
Can you source certified plastic stock?
Yes, stocked rods and sheets come with mill certificates; medical-grade and ESD grades are sourced per drawing callout.
