KGL Is D&B ESG Registered: What It Means for Buyers
KGL holds the D&B ESG Registered seal until 2027-08-26 and keeps D-U-N-S No. 54-443-4542 current. What the ESG registration verifies and how buyers use it in supplier audits.
Over the past two years, the questionnaires we receive from European customers have changed. Five years ago they asked about tolerances, lead times, and payment terms. Now, somewhere between the quality section and the logistics section, there is usually a page about environmental practice, working conditions, and governance. The questions come from corporate sustainability programs that reach into the supply chain, and they are not going away.
We decided to answer those questions with a third-party record instead of a self-declared statement. KGL Machinery & Electronics Co., Limited now holds the D&B ESG Registered seal, valid until 2027-08-26.
What D&B ESG Registration actually is
Dun & Bradstreet maintains commercial data on hundreds of millions of businesses, and it uses that data to generate an ESG assessment for registered companies. The D&B ESG ranking runs on a five-point scale, where 1 indicates low risk and 5 indicates high risk. Our assessment was generated on January 5, 2026, from company data including registration history, operational status, and size indicators. The inaugural ranking sits at 3, the middle band. That number gives us an honest baseline rather than a marketing claim, and the record updates as company facts change.
The D-U-N-S record underneath it
The ESG assessment draws on the same company data as our D-U-N-S registration, No. 54-443-4542, which we have kept current since 2024. The current D-U-N-S Registered certificate covers 2025 to 2026. One registry, one legal entity name, one factory address: the same details that appear on our invoices, bank documents, and ISO certificates.
How buyers use it
Three practical uses come up in our customer conversations. First, the screening stage: a procurement team can pull the D&B ESG record before sending a questionnaire, which shortens the qualification cycle. Second, the audit itself: when a customer's ESG questionnaire asks for evidence, a third-party registration is a stronger starting point than a filled-in template. Third, annual reviews: existing customers can reference the record at requalification instead of restarting the paperwork from zero.
The registration does not replace the on-site audits some customers run, and it does not certify a product. It verifies the company behind the parts, from data D&B collects and maintains itself.
