Terms of Service

The terms that apply to quotations, orders and the use of kglmfg.com.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. These terms

These terms apply to quotations, orders and the use of kglmfg.com. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you accept them. Where we have signed a separate written contract or purchase agreement with you, that document prevails over these terms.

2. About us

KGL Machinery & Electronics Co., Limited, 1/F, Building 1, No.30 Changyue Road, Changzhen Community, Yutang Street, Guangming District, Shenzhen, China. D-U-N-S 54-443-4542. Contact: kgl@kglmfc.com.

3. Quotes and pricing

A quotation is prepared from the drawings, models and quantities you provide. Unless the quotation states otherwise, it is valid for 30 days from its date and is an invitation to order rather than a binding offer. Prices exclude taxes, duties and freight unless stated. If your files change after a quote, the price and the lead time may change, and we confirm the new figures with you in writing before work continues.

4. Orders

An order is formed when we confirm it in writing and you accept that confirmation. The order covers the drawing revision quoted, the quantity, the material, the finish, the inspection level and the delivery date stated in the confirmation.

5. Tolerances, specifications and DFM review

Our standard tolerance on machined metal and plastic parts is ±0.005 mm on critical features, verified with calibrated CMM and gauge inspection. Tighter tolerances, down to ±0.002 mm, are possible on specific features after a design-for-manufacturability review, and we confirm in writing which features can hold them. Undimensioned features follow ISO 2768 unless your drawing states otherwise. We raise any tolerance that cannot be met economically before production starts, and we do not promise a tolerance we cannot measure.

6. Your drawings and intellectual property

You keep all rights in the drawings, models and specifications you send us. You grant us a limited licence to use them only to quote and, if you order, to manufacture the parts described. We claim no rights in your designs. We keep the rights in our own process knowledge, fixtures, programs and tooling.

7. Confidentiality and NDAs

Quote files are confidential. If no order follows, we delete them 365 days after receipt, as set out in our Privacy Policy. If you prefer to sign before you send files, we offer a one-page NDA that both parties can sign before drawings are exchanged.

8. Delivery, lead times and risk

Lead times are quoted in working days from the later of the order confirmation, the release of the final drawings, the receipt of the purchase order and any agreed deposit. Delivery terms follow the agreed Incoterm. Risk in the goods passes as stated in the order confirmation.

9. Quality, inspection and documentation

Parts are produced under our ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D and ISO 13485:2016 systems. Inspection reports, first article inspection reports to AS9102, material certificates and certificates of conformance are available with every order on request. If a part does not meet the drawing, tell us within 30 days of receipt. We inspect the returned parts with you and replace or credit the affected quantity.

10. Payment

Payment terms are stated on the order confirmation. Unless agreed otherwise, new customers pay a deposit before production and the balance before shipment. We accept bank transfer. Title in the goods passes when payment is complete.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the value of the affected parts, including the material and the machining of those parts. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost production, lost profit or downstream delay. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties first try to settle any dispute through good-faith discussion. If that fails, the dispute is decided by the competent court in Shenzhen, China, unless the parties agree another forum in writing.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
